Remember the Moon Boot?

OK, so I’m showing my age a bit, but, really, who cares, the Moon Boot was far out!  So, why am I talking about the Moon Boot™ in an industrial safety blog? Well, that’s because Conney now offers a similar boot, the NEOS Explorer™ and Navigator 5™.

Just like the Moon Boot™, the NEOS Explorer™ and Navigator 5™ are lightweight, waterproof, and warm. You might be asking how they are different. Well, the NEOS are overshoes. They are meant to be worn over street shoes and can accommodate work and orthopedic shoes without jeopardizing performance. Specifically, the Explorer™ is 11″ high to tackle deep snow and slush. Plus, they offer the NEOS Perma outsole for great traction. The Navigator 5™ is 15″ high for deeper snow, you know the deep stuff we had when we were kids and were able to play in it for hours while wearing Moon Boots™. The sole on the Navigator 5 is a Vibram Ninja Sole for more aggressive traction. Both styles have a comfort rating to -20°F to boot.

Need more traction? Check out the Explorer Stabilcers® and Navigator 5 Stabilcers®. Both models offer the same great features as their counter parts but will come with 32 replaceable steel spikes for superior traction.

The NEOS might not help you take “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” on the moon surface like Neil Armstrong, but they help in preventing a slip that puts you in the emergency room.

Peace Out!
